At first, Tim thought previous owner Roddy placed the order wrong because of how much money he was saving shopping at Tucker’s compared to other retailers. From there, they became loyal customers, and when Roddy was ready to retire he gave Tim a call.
Tim and Meagan, along with Tim’s sister Bethany and her husband Zach make up the next generation of family to own and operate Tucker Furniture.
To Past and Future Tucker Furniture Customers,
In 2021 my wife Bethany and I felt God tugging at our hearts. We knew change was coming, but we didn’t know what that looked like until Bethany’s brother Tim Beldner and his wife, Meagan, reached out to talk about Tucker Furniture. At that moment we knew this is where God wanted us and within a few months we packed up our lives and moved from Denver, Colorado to Matthews, North Carolina.
We are brand new to the furniture world, but it’s an honor to serve this community and continue the legacy the Tucker family worked so hard to create. Tucker Furniture has been able to survive for nearly 70 years because of its singular focus on providing quality products at honest prices, and that principle will continue to be at the core of every decision we make.
It is a big responsibility to take the reins of a business that’s been around for nearly 70 years, but my goal is to keep it rolling for another 70.

In 2014, Tim and Meagan moved their family to Charlotte and had their first experience with Tucker Furniture. They were blown away by the customer service and the prices and became loyal customers. With more than 15 years of experience in finances, real estate, and business, Tim saw an opportunity to continue the Tucker Furniture legacy when Roddy decided to retire.
While you don’t see Tim and Meagan in the store everyday, you can find them and their 6 kids in the community and enjoying the outdoors.
For Andrea, so many factors go into finding the perfect furniture for a room – colors, fabrics, life circumstances. She takes it all into consideration when helping clients design and decorate their homes; her goal is to help people find the “wow” factor in their home, no matter the budget. A resident of the Charlotte area for more than 15 years, when Andrea isn’t in the store or working at a client’s home, she is cooking, exploring the outdoors, and engaging with the community.
Ted makes sure everyone who walks in the door is greeted with a smile and leaves with the right furniture for them. Outside of the store, he never misses an opportunity to play with his dogs, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
In the warehouse, Marcus loves coming to work with a group of people who feel like family. The rest of the time you can usually find him spending time with family or playing RC Racing games.
For more than 12 years, Harley has worked for Tucker Furniture. He really enjoys the family feel at Tuckers and the fact that it allows him time to spend with his own family and work on his endless list of house projects.
With more than 20 years at Tucker Furniture, Kevin is the store’s longest-tenured employee. The variety of the job and helping people get settled into their homes is the best part of the job for him. Outside of work, Kevin can be found with his family or relaxing in the mountains.
